If I my Chapter 7 was discharged and I kept my vehicle through this, am I still entitled to monthly statements on my auto loan?

The company that holds the loan claims that they cannot contact me or send me monthly statements anymore because of the bankruptcy. Is this true?

It may be true as the discharge prohibits creditors from attempting to collect debts after a discharge. You didn't mention whether you reaffirmed the car debt.  If so, the creditor should have no problem sending notices.  If not, they would be bound by the discharge.  You also might find your car gone as there is no acourt approved agreement which provides for future retention of the security.
