What to do if I have found that my fiance has installed spyware on my personal computer?

This has been in effect since last week or maybe longer. Is this a violation of law?

Yes it is if you own the computer and did not consent to the program being installed.  The violation holds both criminal and civil penalties in most jurisdictions.  Take the computer to an IT person to have the program removed and then place a password on your computer and give it to no one.  There are bigger issues here but those I think you know and you have to deal with them yourself.  Good luck.
