No, he will not be personally liable for your debt. However, your share of any joint or marital property, such as your share of money in a joint bank account, your interest in your marital home, etc. could potentially be targetted by the judgment creditor (the person who sued you and won). And gettinyoug credit for large, joint purchases or investments (e.g. a home) will be complicated by your credit history reflected a large unpaid judgment against you.
