What to do if I’ve been falsely accused of theft from my company’s investigator?

He says that they have evidence that I manipulated paperwork but no evidence of me physically taking money. He keeps calling me telling me that he wants to keep this in the company and it would be in my best interest to just tell the truth. What can I do? I didn’t take the money.

I suggest that you cease contact with the company's investigator and retain a criminal defense attorney to help you resolve the claims against you. By doing such you are insulated from the claims against you and have a professional working for you to help.
