What to do if I have a court date on the 23rd for DUI?

I cannot delay the procedings any longer and have been unable to retain an attorney. Are there any other options that I am unaware of to continue this case?

Try this Web site for help finding a DUI lawyer in North Carolina: http://www.dmv.org/nc-north-carolina/dui-attorneys.php.  There is no reason that you should be having trouble retaining an attorney unless it is because you are not willing to pay for one.  If this is the case, you can try to cut a deal with the prosecutor yourself.  Offer to plead guilty to a lesser offense.  If this is your first DUI arrest, the prosecutor will probably agree.
