My company provides support for women in labor (not medical). The deposit fee “held” her due date and prevented me from contracting with other clients. Is she entitled to any monies?

Well, to provide a full answer, an attorney would need to read the signed contract. My first question would be "why wasn't there any language on the 'no refund' in the agreement?" As a threshold question, this issue is about "notice" in that how would the parties know that there is "no refund" and that you held the date to your detriment?
