If I have a bee infestation outside my front door and they are in my apartment, what can I do?

After 10 days my landlord picked up the phone and said they would get someone to take care of it and they have yet to come to my apartment. What are my rights? I cannot reside in my home going on two weeks and the landlord does not care.

In every lease there is an implied warranty of habitability which requires the landlord to maintain the premises in a habitable condition by complying with local and state housing codes.  When there is a breach of the implied warranty of habitability, the tenant notifies the landlord as you have done and the landlord is required to respond within a reasonable time.  When the landlord fails to respond within a reasonable time, you can hire someone to remove the bees and you can deduct the cost from the rent.
