Employment in Arkansas is "employment at will"; you may therefore be fired for any reason, so long as the firing is not discrimination against a protected category (e.g. against you due to your race, religion, age over 40, disability, or sex) or for using a protected benefit (e.g. FMLA leave) or filing a protected claim (such as for overtime). Therefore, it appears you can be terminated for this reason. The termination for not, however, be "for cause," so you should still be eligible for unemployment benefits.
