What to do if I got into accident 2 hours after I bought a car from the dealership?
I thought the sales manager gave me 5 day temporary auto insurance but because of miscomunication between sales manager and the financing manager, I was actually uninsured. The moving accident was at my fault as I collided with a car coming from the opposite directions when I was making left turn at solid green light. The opposing party got fractured her arm. The general manager of the dealership is going to cover me with their company’s insurance policy and I was given their insurance policy number. The opposing party was no driving license, no auto insurance, and no medical insurance. Is it possible that the company’s insurance can cover for my car accident?

I can tell that you are really upset so take a deep breath. First, you are very lucky that the dealership is going to have their coverage cover you, but I would strongly suggest that you seek the advice of an attorney in your area to monitor the situation as there could be a conflict here with the attorney that will represent you pursuant to the coverage. Now, the issues as to the injured party - no license, etc. - may not have a bearing on liability. In other words, if you were negligent their status here as to a license does not make you less negligent unless their actions in driving (speeding, etc.) could mitigate the matter. Speak with a lawyer. Good luck.
