I feel that there was a breach of contract with the seller of a property I am bought.

I recently closed on a house. The day after I signed all the paperwork I get a call saying that the seller (a bank) didn’t do the necessary paperwork to give another bank authority to sell the property. Now I have to wait to move in because of their mistake. Is there anything I can do?

If you don't have a lawyer who handled the closing for you, you're going to have to get one right now.  One place to find a qualified real estate attorney near you is our website, http://attorneypages.com

This is outrageous, really.  The seller took your money, and presumably gave you a deed, but can't deliver what you paid for?  You need a lawyer to hold people's feet to the fire, jump on their heads --and they either give you the property or they give you back your money.  I'd ask for damages and attorneys' fees as well, if your lawyer thinks that's justified based on all of the facts of the case.
