If you committed a crime and you were arrested, chances are criminal charges will be filed. If you were given a "ticket" or "citation", then the best bet is contact private counsel to make a call to the prosecutor's office to determine if there are charges pending.  Otherwise, you may wish to simply wait and see what occurs. While you have your attorney check on the charges, the first question really should be whether there is a warrant out.
