What to do if I basically ran out on a probation from a felony charge 10 years ago?

Are these charges still in effect or is there a statue of limitations? I have not been in any trouble sense and have changed my life completely; I now have a family and would really like t move forward with my life.

You most likely have an outstanding warrant for your arrest based upon what you have written about. I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney in the county where you were convicted to see what can be done to clear the matter so that you and your family can move on with your lives.
