Am I entitled tomy deceased mother’spossessions?

I am trying to obtain my deceased mother’s belongings from her significant other. She did not leave a Will.

I am so sorry for your loss.  If your mother died intestate - with out a Will - then you as her next of kin and a beneficairy of her estate are entitled to gather her belongings.  I might go and be appointed as the fiducairy -personal representative - of her estate so that you have some muscle behind you.  Good luck.
