If I am the only relative for my mother’s estate, how do I get the house put into my name since she is in a personal care with Alzheimers?

There is a balance owing on the house around $130K. I am her power of attorney. Can I sell the home to me get a morgage for about $175K so there is extra to pay for her care? The assesed value of the house is about $200K

Please, please, please go and speak with some one about all of this.  Although there is no one to question you here as the only child you have not said exactly what "personal care" is.  Is it medicare or medicaid or a nursing home facility?  Then transferring the house could get you in to trouble, especially at this late date.  Good luck.
