I suggest that you carefully read the written lease you have with the oil and gas lease that you signed. Once done and if it appears that you are entitled to the bonus money you have written about you should do the following:

1. Write the lessee about it demanding payment by a certain date. Keep a copy of the letter for future use and need;

2. If the due date comes and goes without you getting the money owed, consult an attorney who practices in the area of contract law to see what your legal options are.
