If I’m having an injunction hearing next week about domestic violence, should I allow my husband see kids this weekend before the hearing?

I already have a restraining order against him but he contacted me by third party (his sister) about me allowing him to see the kids this weekend. I am not sure if it is OK.

If you have an attorney representing you with respect to the upcoming injunction hearing you should defer to him or her as to whether you should allow your husband see the children (supervised) before the upcoming hearing.

The key issue is whether you feel that the children would be safe and whether or not the children feel that they would not be safe if they have a visit with their father before the upcoming hearing. I do suggest that the visit be supervised by a third person.
