What is an employer legally required to do if an employee were to provide them with proof of sexual harassment?

I am getting sexually harassed at work, and I want it to stop. I have gone to management, and they wont do anything. I want to go legal. I am getting a restraining order today.

They have to conduct an investigation into the claim, to see if it has validity; and if it does, they have to take reasonable steps to stop it. If they fail to do so, then the employer may become liable for sexual harassment. From what you write, you should consult with an employment law attorney about a possible legal claim.
