How to get an executor to close on etstate matters?

I am an heir to the sale of my mother’s home. The executor was to close on the home 3 weeks ago but missed the closing and is still not doing anything. The realtor can’t get her to get going. What legal rights do I have and can I pursue against the executor. Sad thing is she works for an attorney.

I am so sorry for your loss. From what you have said here it sounds as if she is breaching her duties as the executor.  Missing a closing is a big deal.  So you may want to consider having her removed and some one else substituted in her place.  Bringing the issue before the court may compel her to act.  Good luck.
