If I’m a co-executor of my uncle’s estate, can I file a claim for an executor’s fee and, if so, what amount or percentage do I claim?

Also, the other co-executor is an heir, can she claim an executor’s fee? How do I put the estate on notice that I am going to claim an executor’s fee?

There is a computation worksheet that you need to complete to calculate an executor fee.  This can be obtained from the probate court directly or from their website if they make them available.  If there are two co-executors, only one fee can be take and it is divided between the two co-executors.  By law the executor is entitled to a fee.
