How much time should I get between receiving my subpoena and my court date?

I received a subpoena via certified mail less then 20 hours before having to appear in court.

Under the laws of all states in this country the time period as to a trial subpoena to be served upon a witness is a "reasonable time". What is a reasonable time depends upon the circumstances of each matter. I agree in your matter 20 hours is a bit short on the notice.
