How long can I be suspended for?

I work for Disneyland and was suspended fro ‘open investigation’. None of the
people in my management team seem to know what is going on. Nor do they have
any idea when the suspension will end.

An empoyee can be suspended indefinitely absent an employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will" which means that a company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit (so long as no form of actionable discrimination is involved).
