How long before the other insurance will pay out?
I have basic coverage meaning my insurance only covers the other person’s car in an accident. A semi merged into me (the ticket was given to him) and it has been almost 2 weeks since the accident and I have barly heard anything from the other insurance company and my representative claims to be emailing and calling constantly. The said they just got the appraiser’s report and I was just wondering how long it will take before I receive anything?

As a follow up to your prior question as to a pay out by your insirance carrier concenring any claims that you may be making as to it for the accident that you were in, having the insurance company for the other party involved in your accident make a pay out (settlement) to you could take some time, months or years possibly if the other side's insurance carrier decides to reject a realistic settlement demand by you for any and all damamges that you sustained from the facts that you have written about.
