How do you insure the estate of someone?

This is to safeguard the estate for lack of homeowner’s Insurance while the Will is in the 90 waiting period?

Someone stands to inherit the real estate, and that person has an "insurable interest" in the property. That person should be able to buy a homeowner's insurance policy in their own name. Talk to your insurance company about how to do this.

Or, you can petition the probate court to appoint a personal representative for the estate (also called an executor), before the will is submitted to the court, for the limited purpose of buying insurance for the real property. Then, after the waiting period is over, the personal representative can also file the will with the court.
