How do I go about personal serving my ex-husband if I do not know where he is living now?
I am requesting back pay for spousal support and need to personal serve him court documents. Unfortunately, he has moved and do not know where he is living now. I do not know any of his current friends and do not have any contact information on his old friends. His family is in another state and do not know their current phone numbers.

You can serve your ex-husband by publication since his whereabouts are unknown. Service by publication is running the notice in the legal notices section of your newspaper for a required period of time. You should check with the court clerk to find out how long the notice has to run in the newspaper to be effective service by publication.
Even if your ex-husband does not see the notice in the newspaper, this is still valid service of process.
