How can i sue someone in small claims court for a verbal agreement for payment of a credit card

I opened a credit card for a family member so she could consolidate her own cards and pay them off and she agreed to pay the debt. She is now refusing to pay. Can I sue her for the balance? And how do I go about doing that?

If you opened up a credit card in your name for a family member, the family member used the card and racked up a bill that he or she refuses to pay, you can pay off the balance and then sue the family member for the balance owed.

You can sue in small claims court. If you make a payment on the account and assuming it is in your name, I would contact the credit card company and close down the account.
