Hiring process

Is it anything I can do about being hired for a
job. Then told I would be called back within 3 to
4 business days for back ground check then be
able to start training. 2 weeks went by I called
the store and was told I would be scheduled for
training its been a week already. It feels like
neglect and unprofessional business. I’m still
unemployed because they aren’t organized or
giving me a chance to be a worker when I was
already hired to work

There is no right to speedy employment. A company can take as long as it sees fit to hire an employee. Accordingly, unless you feel that there is some form of legally actionable discrimination at play or this action violates the terms of an employment contract or collective bargaining agreement it is legal.
