If I’m a European citizen and would like to give birth in the US, is that I legal?

Do I require to have a visa for that (I usually travel to the US without a visa). What should I do to be able to give birth in the US? I can cover for my expenses.

You can give birth in the US and your child will be a US citizen; however, you as the parent do not derive any right to US citizenship or green card status through your child until your child turns 21 and can petition you for permanent residence.
