What to do if during a recent trip to an amusement park I hit my head on a water ride?

I blacked out briefly and had vertigo for 2 hours. I visited my provider and he said I have whiplash. Since then my neck, shoulder, back, and arms hurt. I have noticed also that I get light headed a lot after the accident. Is there any action I can take against the amusement park?

You can but keep in mind that most amusement park rides do have warnings and further, if you were prone to vertigo or any type of related ailment, it could weaken your claim.  That being said, if you have no pre-existing conditions and this is not one of those rides that would be considered assumption of the risk, you should seek counsel immediately to determine whether contacting the park's insurance carrier/legal division would be the best route.
