ohio child support calculation

can someone help me calculate child support in a shared parenting plan. (50/50) we have agreed to an amount. I just want to make sure i’m not paying more then what the real calculation is.

And I forgot to mention that Ohio uses the Income Shares Model for calculating child support.  You can google it and see what comes up.  Good luck.

I am not admitted in Ohio and can not attest to the accuracy of the following site, but it seems to give some information on calculating child support in Ohio.  Apparently there are worksheets available and your attorney should have done the calculations for you so that you could see what you were agreeing to before hand.  Ask your lawyer or go down to the Courthouse and see of they have a worksheet as well.  Here is the site:  http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/3119.023
