A noncompetitive agreement is limited in time , scope, and geographic area.
You did not mention the period of time the agreement is to be in effect. It has to be a reasonable period of time.
The agreement applies to residential not commercial real estate in the vicinity of Chicago.
Therefore, your freelance work in commercial real estate for the Florida realty company does not violate the noncompetitive agreement.
