Yes, legally they do need to remove the debris left from their operations (e.g. the tree trimming). But practically, if they refuse to, you'd have to sue them for a court order requring removal or requiring them to pay the cost of removal (since only courts enforce legal rights), and doing so will take time, would be difficult without an attorney, and if you do hire a lawyer, could cost you more than you get back. This may be a time that regardless of your rights, that the most practical thing to do is to simply remove the logs yourself.
