Does my employer have to pay me accrued vacation time?
I work for a small business in Wisconsin (under 15-20 people). I gave my 2 weeks notice after 6 yrs of employment and was told that my accrued vacation time won’t be paid. Is this legal?

Wisconsin law does not require employers to pay out accrued vacation time on resignation; it is up to employers what policy to have in this regard. If it has been your employer's policy to pay out vacation time on resignation, then, unless they had announced a policy change prior to your resignation, they'd have to pay you; otherwise, they do not need to pay your accrued vacation time.
