Does state or federal law require I report an accountant/bookkeeper who embezzled?
I’ve recently learned my accountant/bookkeeper has been embezzling from me. She’s admitted it and has begun making restitution. Do I have to report her? What are my legal obligations in this matter?

No, there is no law (state or federal) requiring reporting of a financial crime committed against you, and you are free to treat this as a civil matter (where she simply owes you the money) and allow her to repay you or make restitution. You are advised to put any such agreement in writing and get her signature--that will make it easier to enforce if at some point she stops paying.
