It sounds like you are in a situation that may be causing some strife and I am sorry for that. One really needs to read the documents involved but assumedly the person for whom it was executed decided the matter by putting the person with the medical POA in charge. It should, then, be held valid and that person should be the one to make the decisions. Good luck.
