Do they count spousal or child support payments as income for bankruptcy? I lost my job last October but I do receive support payments.

I have huges debts left from my ex and since I lost my job everything is getting out of control. I’m living on the spousal and child support but that barely lets me live and I certainly can’t pay anything on any debts. Thanks!

Probably not.  Review the following and contact a bankruptcy lawyer because you shouldn't be doing this on your own.  Try www.attorneypages.com and check his or her record at the Virginia State Bar.
