Do I need an attorney to remove/change a name on a deed for a residential property that has no liens?
I am having an amicable divorce and we are dividing properties. I wish to remove
my name from a house that has my and my spouses names on the deed. There are no
loans against the property.

A quitclaim deed will release your entire right, title, and interest in the property to your spouse. The quitclaim deed is signed in the presence of a notary. The quitclaim deed becomes effective upon being recorded (filed with the County Recorder's office).
You don't need an attorney.
