Do I have the right to demand compensation from a moving company?

I recently relocated out-of-state and in doing so I used a moving company (who then out sourced to a larger company who does state to state moves – was not aware of the exchange initially). We were told initially that delivery would be 72 hours from pick up date. Then we were told it would be one week before we would receive our belongings. We are now on our 2nd week and are told one more time that it would take another few days for delivery. I have lost 3 full days of work because of this (which now my pay loss has exceeded the cost of the total move). What are my rights?

The moving company will have insurance, and your rights are governed by the contract you signed, which likely requires a complaint to them first.  You can sue in small claims for losses, but not work losses.  Just damages to the stuff.
