Do I have a case if my 11 year old fell asleep on the school going to school and the bus driver never checked the bus so my son had to get off and walk?

I was first notified by the vice principle informing me what happened. And stating that it would be looked into. That the bus driver was wrong. Do I have a case against the bus company?

Although the bus driver was negligent and the bus company is liable for the negligence of an employee which occurs during the course and scope of employment, since your grandson was not injured, you will recover little or nothing in a lawsuit for negligence against the bus company. Therefore, it is not worth filing a lawsuit.
