Will a deferred sentence on a DWI show up on my criminal record?

I”m applying for a job and a question on the application ask if convicted of DWI/DUI. I’ve heard that after the court is satisfied with all requirements this will not appear on my record. Is this true?

I would double check with a criminal attorney in your area about this as soon as you can.  Be aware that even if the law in your state permits the outcome you have indicated - not on your record - the arrest may still be there if you do not do something to erase it.  The method for getting rid of the arrest is known as "expungement" or sealing.  Each state has their own rules and regulations regarding this matter and what offenses are permitted to be expunged.  After you have done what is necessary I suggest that you yourself run a background check on yourself and see what appears.  It is always better to be safe rather than sorry.  Good luck.
