CanI be charged for by my employer for a free class?
My employer and I have a contract that states that I will reimburse them for money they spent on a class that I took. I found out the class is free. So they make a contract to reimburse them for something they didn’t pay for. Is that legal?

No, it does not seem so does it? I would have someone take a look at that contract for you and then I would gather up all the information you can about the class and have them look at that as well. Is the contract for classes generally or for this specific class? Ask you employer about the class. Try and state it in a non-aggressive way, such as "since this class was a free class I am assuming that it is not included in the contract" and see what they say. Maybe they had to pay for the class for it to be free for you? Like a bulk amount for employees? How, though, did they figure out the price of reimbursement? Get help in your area.
