Can they hit him with new charges this late down the road or why was he released from the county if they were gonna pick him up again?

He had a warrant for parole violation and was taken to arapahoe county to later appear before parole board, still with no pending charges, and was sentenced to 180 turn around in comm. corrections. After Arap. county released him to the halfway house, he had only a week left, when he was then picked up and taken back to the county with new charges. Why werent these charges brought up at the parole hearing?

They don't have to be brought up at the first hearing.  If he did the crime. he can brought up however the county or state wants to pursue.
