Legally, unless you had written employment contract guarantying your employment for at least the probation period and/or limiting the reasons or procedure for firing you, you can be fired at any time, for any reason, without notice that is because without a written employment contract, you are an employee at will, and the employment of an employee at will may be terminated at will by an employer. Some companies have a probation period, but this an internal policy, not the law and the law does not enforce such internal policies.
