Can my landlord post a notice on my door showing my balance?
I rent a house I am past due on rent. I come home and the landlord put a notice on my door showing balance and personal information. Can you please show where in the landlord tenant law?

Under the laws of all states in this country if a tenant is past due on his or her rent, a landlord can post a three day notice to pay or quit on the tenant's rental showing the amount due and if not paid within three days of the posting, the landlord will deem the lease forfeited.
Such a process is allowed per statute under the Civil Code of all states in this country. What the landlord did was entirely permissible.
