Can my employer put me on adminstrative leave indefinitely?

They won’t tell me when I can come back to work.

Unless you have an employment contract or union agreement to the contrary, there is no set timeframe for how long administrative leave can be for. The fact is that most employment is "at will" which means that a company can set the conditions of the workplace much has it sees fit (as long as no form of legally actionable discrimination is a factor).
