Whether or not you can tell people at work as a warning that an employee has an infectious disease such as Hepatitis A all depends if the disease is under control from a medical standpoint or not.

If not, then you have the obligation to do the following:

1. contact the Center for Disease Control and report the situation.

2. send the infected person home with request that the person seek immediate medical help.

3. advise all employees orally and in writing that they immediately seek medical consultation after being exposed to an infectious disease, but do not state who may have infected them.
