Can I sue a parking company because someone hit my car and left the scene?

I work for a company and I’m guessing they pay a parking for their employees to park. I bought my car last year and it has been hit 3 times already. In one of those incidents, my car had over $6,000 worth of damage. My car just recently got hit and the person left. I don’t think I should pay for it because the lot doesn’t have adequate security.

The law does not require companies to necessarily secure their parking lots. However, if a company has represented (or promised) that its parking is secure, then a failure to provide adequate security could make them liable for damages to vehicals parked there. So the issue will be whether they have undertaken to provide secure parking or not, which will determine their duties, and therefore their potential liability.
