It might be dismissed, but does not have to be: when you tell the prosecutor or court that the ticket was issued to a deceased person, they will want to know who was driving his car. Presumably, you will not lie to the authorities and admit it was you. That means that they could reissue the ticket to you. They might not--they might consider the follow-up more effort than its worth--but they could do so.
