Can I fly domestically with a bench warrant in same county as airport?

I am wondering if it’s OK to fly out of the airport if I have a bench warrant out for non-payment of fines in the same county as the airport. So what I’m asking is do such airports run peoples’ names? I’m flying domestic also. ‘I dont want to go to jail the day of my vacation.

Nowadays, most airline security protocols include checking specific databases for passenger information (this is especially true on international flights). If you have an outstanding warrant, your name will likely come up and you will not be able to board the plane for domestic flights (international passengers who have outstanding warrants will also not be able to clear the background check for a visa). The general rule is that in most cases, if you have a warrant for your arrest and it is discovered while you are attempting to travel, you will be arrested on the spot.
