I have been separated for 13 years and live in a different county than I did when I was married. I have lived here for 7 years and would like to file for divorce in this county not the county my spouse lives in.

The general rule is that you file for divorce in the county in which you reside, and many counties have a requirement that you have lived in their county for a set period of time before filing. That differs from state to state and county to county but it is around 6 months and you have met that requirement many times over. Good luck.
