CanI collect unemployment benefits ifI was fired for pinching a co-worker’s butt?

Already filed determination eligibility papers which were denied. Would filing an appeal be practical?

There is probably little or no reason to not try appealing, but be aware that you may still lose. Pinching a co-worker's butt can be considered sexual harassment; sexually harassing another employee can be considered grounds for termination for cause; if you are terminated for cause, you are ineligible for unemployment.
